Through the MemberCare committee, we strive to bring to life the promise of our Mission Statement, to be... to live... and to love....
Our focus is primarily on Membership and Fellowship activities. We assist the pastor with new member classes, encouraging visitors and friends to become part of our dynamic congregation. We promote fellowship by coordinating events such as welcome receptions, special lunches and dinners, and Sunday Coffee Hour. We help staff the Welcome Center on Sundays and have available a special gift for our visitors.
Additionally, we are in charge of the annual Clearwater Winter Retreat for our church family. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know others better and enjoy the winter beauty near Brainerd, MN. Along with others, we organized the adult mission trip to New Orleans in 2009 and 2010 to work on homes devastated by Hurricane Katrina. From time to time, we coordinate social or cultural events that bring together our members and friends.
We hope you will enjoy our church's new picture directory for which we were in charge. The directory is a valuable tool for members and friends of our congregation to get acquainted with one another.
